		<description>If I were to upgrade the drive, I'd probably grab one of the nice 250GB WD Scorpio portable drives.  Got one for my wife's MBP, and it's speedy (about 2x the speed as the 160GB 5400RPM drive in the 17").

Surely by the time I actually _need_ to upgrade my own, capacity and speed will be up even more.</description>

		<description>I have a 250gig 4200 rpm drive in my 17" high-res macbook pro and it's noticeably slower than the 7200 RPM drive I put in my wife's macbook.  On certain tasks the little macbook seems more snappy.  I've gone totally portable now and I needed the space to hold all my PC and mac apps and files.   IN a year or so we should have fast drive that will fit all my poop.  I'm looking forward to that upgrade.
