29  Speed Control

If you play a recording at a slower rate, the pitch goes down. Reducing speed by half drops everything an octave. But that’s not how you want to be learning solos, especially if you’re trying to copy notes from a bass line!

Fortunately, Capo can bypass this fact of physics, giving you a choice to play at any speed between 25% and 150% while preserving the original pitch. And it doesn’t sacrifice much of the original recording quality.

This is fantastic news, because Capo can slow down the fastest of solos to give you a lot more time to process what you’re hearing. Together with the Transcription Playhead, you can work your way through blazing-fast solos at a more manageable speed.
