3 Create a Project from the Music Library (iOS)
This how-to assumes that you already have a purchased, DRM-free song in your music library to use.
1. Choose a location for your project
When you first launch Capo, you should already be in the Capo folder in iCloud. If you’re not sure:
- Tap the Browse tab at the bottom of the screen
- Tap it again to see a list of locations
- Choose ‘iCloud Drive’ from the Locations list
- Locate the ‘Capo’ folder, and tap it
Once you’re in the Capo folder, tap on the ‘Create Document’ item at the top of the list, or use the ‘+’ button that appears in the toolbar at the top of the screen.
2. Locate the song in your music library
- From the list of options, tap the Browse Music library… button to reveal the library browser.
- Tap the ‘Songs’ item to show all the songs in your library
- At the top right of the screen, tap the filter button
- Choose Show Available Music
- Scroll to find the song you want to learn, or type it into the search field
WarningUnavailable Songs
If there are no songs that appear in the list, then you don’t have a DRM-free copy of music in the library. Either you haven’t purchased the song on iTunes, or you need to adjust your Music app settings.
3. Create the project
Tap on the song, and Capo will start creating your project in the location you chose in step 1.
