4 Make Your Purchased Songs Available to Capo
A few years back, Apple added lossless and spatial audio to the Apple Music catalog. If you subscribe to Apple Music, and you purchase a song from iTunes, the Music app will not download the DRM-free copy of your song by default.
Fortunately, this problem is easy to fix.
In the Music app, do the following:
- Choose Music > Settings… from the main menu
- Select the Playback tab at the top
- Check the Enable Lossless Audio checkbox
- Change the Download popup to “High Quality (AAC 256 kbps)”
If you’ve already made a song available offline on your Mac, you may have to right-click on the song and choose “Remove Download”, then re-download it before Capo can access it. Contact support if you still have trouble.
Open the Settings app, and do the following:
- Scroll down to Apps at the bottom, and tap it
- Look for Music in the list, and tap it
- Look for the ‘Audio’ group, and tap Audio Quality
- Turn on the Lossless Audio switch
- Tap on the Downloads item
- Choose the High Quality item at the top
- If prompted, choose to Replace your lossless downloads
Upon completing these steps, you should now be able to create projects from the music library.
If you still have trouble with a song that you made available offline, you may have to locate the song in the Music app, long-press on it, choose “Remove Download”, and then re-download it before Capo can access it. Contact support if you still have trouble.
